BSB30415 - Certificate III in Business Administration

COURSE OVERVIEW

This course will provide skills for individuals looking to gain an entry level position within a Financial Administration Environment.

This course is underpinned with Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger and Financial Record Keeping using manual procedure and software program MYOB. Students will develop their skills across the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) as well as learning to communicate and deal with clients in relation to best financial practice.

Students will develop keyboarding skills, as well as develop a sound knowledge of financial processes and the importance of client confidentiality.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY NETWORKING

Training is offered in a small class size with face to face practical based training delivered by industry experts. The course will include a requirement to undertake work placement to support students in demonstrating competence in particular units.

COURSE DELIVERY

This course is generally delivered over 42 sessions for 21 weeks. Mixed mode deliverywhich includes classroom, self-paced learning and industry work placement totalling 112 hours.

This course is subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible students.
