Food Safety Supervisor - New Entrants

The NSW food Authority requires most food businesses in the hospitality and retail food service sector to have at least one trained Food Safety Supervisor (FSS).

The FSS course includes the following units: SITXFSA002 Participate in safe food handling practices and SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety. Units from Certificate III in Hospitality SIT30616.

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate III in Hospitality SIT30616.
