Cafe All Rounder

COURSE OVERVIEW

Are you looking to enter the workforce? Are you wanting to gain practical all round café skills? Then this course is for you!

Giving you the hands on skills to work as a café all-rounder you will learn food hygiene practices, how to make and present a large range of gourmet and basic sandwiches wraps and rolls, make non-alcoholic beverages including shakes and smoothies, interact with customers and the public as well as basic money handling techniques.

All training is done in an industry simulated environment giving you the skills to go and commence your journey in the hospitality industry.

DURATION

This course is held every Monday and Tuesday for 9 weeks.

This training requires at least 12 hours in total face to face each week and a total of 13 hours self-paced learning across the entire course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All students undertake a Language Literacy and Numeracy evaluation prior to enrolling with our LLN Robot assessment tool.

Concessions & eligibility criteria apply. This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. Limited places are available.

Student Fee: $793.00. Payable prior to course commencement for ineligible students.

FSKRDG07 read and respond to simple workplace information

PATHWAYS

On completion of this short course, you may be able to undertake:

  • SIT20316 – Certificate II in Hospitality
  • SIT30616 – Certificate III in Hospitality

If you believe you have already undertaken any of this training, or have the current skills, please talk to your Trainer or Training Coordinator prior to course commencement. Credit transfer can only be applied by sighting organismal transcript of studies.
