Cultural Art Workshop

COURSE OVERVIEW

This workshop supports participants who may be struggling with mental health concerns, to be in a safe and welcoming environment to make artworks in a creative outlet and to encourage communication.

The outcome of this workshop is to encourage participants in developing their skills in creative process. Students will individually create artwork reflective of their own lived experiences using traditional techniques as well as working together on a group project.

COURSE DELIVERY

Mixed mode delivery which includes face to face classroom training and self-paced learning.

UNITS OF COMPETENCY

On successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment for the followingunits will be issued:

ACCREDITED UNITS

  • FSKOCM02 – Engage in basic spoken exchanges at work
  • FSKRDG10 – Read and respond to routine wokrplace information
  • FSKDIG03 – Use digital technology for routine workplace tasks

Units from FSK10113 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways. These accredited units are Nationally Recognised.

NON-ACCREDITED UNITS

  • Develop painting skills
  • Make simple creative work
