COURSE OVERVIEW

This skill group has been developed from Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways to engage and allow participants to express themselves whilst discovering symbolic Indigenous cultural stories.

This course is designed to support job seekers to build confidence and to gain oral, literacy, numeracy and communication skills and work readiness support.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY NETWORKING

The practical component of this course is delivered by Tyronne Hoerler. Course is delivered in a supported and friendly class.

COURSE DELIVERY

Riverina Community College offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and recognises units achieved through other RTO’s via the Credit Transfer process.

This course is delivered over 10 sessions. Mixed mode delivery which can includes practical and theory.

STUDENT FEE

This course is subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible students. Concessions & eligibility criteria applies. Limited places are available.

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways FSK10213.
  • Read and respond to simple workplace information (FSKRDG07)
  • Use simple strategies for work-related learning (FSKLRG08)
  • Identify, measure and estimate familiar quantities for work (FSKNUM09)
  • Participate in simple spoken interactions at work (FSKOCM03)
