COURSE OVERVIEW

Learning how to design and apply makeup in a professional manner can assist the participant in making further steps on the pathway to study and employment in the beauty industry.

The Foundation Basics pathway program is holistically delivered around the beauty industry and can lead to further studies or developing confidence and personal growth.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE AND INDUSTRY NETWORKING

This training is delivered by an industry expert in a small and supportive group environment.

COURSE DELIVERY

This course is delivered over 10 sessions for 10 weeks. Mixed mode delivery which can include practical and theory components.

UNITS OF COMPETENCY

On completion of this short course, a Statement of Attainment for the following units will be issued:

ACCREDITED UNITS

  • FSKRDG07 – Read and respond to simple workplace information
  • FSKNUM08 – Identify and use whole numbers and simple fractions, decimals and percentages for work
  • SHBBMUP002 – Design and apply makeup

Units from FSK10213 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways
These accredited units are Nationally Recognised.

On completion of this short course, you may be able to undertake:

  • FSK10213 – Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways
  • FSK20113 – Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways
  • SHB30215 – Certificate III in Makeup
