Foundation Skills Pathway to Silversmithing

COURSE OVERVIEW

Participants will learn foundation skills in a fun interactive environment specialising in the area of jewellery silversmithing.

This course is designed to support jobseekers to build confidence, communication skills and work readiness.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE AND INDUSTRY NETWORKING

This training is delivered by an experienced industry expert and allows students to gain basic practical tool handling skills in a supported and friendly class.

COURSE DELIVERY

This course is delivered over 12 sessions. Mixed mode delivery which can includes practical and theory.

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways FSK20113.

  • Use digital technology for simple workplace tasks (FSKDIG02)
  • Locate, compare and use highly familiar measurements for work (FSKNUM04)
  • Participate in simple spoken interactions at work (FSKOCM03)
  • Write basic workplace information (FSKWTG03)
