Foundation Skills Pathway - Abstract Art

COURSE OVERVIEW

Participants will develop their foundation skills in a fun interactive environment specialising in the area of Abstract Art.

This foundation skills course provides a pathway for students to slowly build confidence on the development of oral, literacy, numeracy and communication skills including work readiness. Students will undertake foundations skills while completing a culmination mural artwork as a team, students will also create and complete personalised artwork to take home.

COURSE DELIVERY

This course is delivered over 15 sessions for 15 weeks. Mixed mode delivery which includes classroom and self-paced learning.

UNITS OF COMPETENCY

On completion of this short course, a Statement of Attainment for the following units will be issued:

ACCREDITED UNITS

  • FSKLRG08 – Use simple strategies for work-related learning
  • FSKNUM03 – Identify and use whole numbers and money up to one thousand for work
  • FSKOCM07 – Interact effectively with others at work
  • FSKOCM03 – Participate in simple spoken interactions at work
  • FSKRDG07 – Read and respond to simple workplace information
  • FSKWTG03 – Write basic workplace information

These accredited units are Nationally Recognised.

NON-ACCREDITED UNITS

  • Apply basic communication skills
