Manicure and Pedicure Skill Group

COURSE OVERVIEW

Are you interested in the beauty industry? Particularly, manicures and pedicures? Then this manicure and pedicare skill group is the course for you!

This course aims to teach students the required techniques to perform manicure & pedicure treatments. Students will also learn to understand the structure and function of hands, feet and nails and the effects of treatments and products can have.

Students may wish to continue a pathway career into the beauty industry including day spa. Inclusive of this course, students will be demonstrated the latest Shellac techniques as a non accredited unit, this giving students the latest skills required for industry.

This course includes accredited units from SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services.

DURATION

This course is held every Friday for 8 weeks.
Time: 9:30am to 3:00pm

This training requires at least 5 hours in total face to face each week as well as self-directed learning done outside scheduled classroom time.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All students undertake a Language Literacy and Numeracy evaluation prior to enrolling with our LLN Robot assessment tool.

Concessions & eligibility criteria apply. This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. Limited places are available.

Student Fee: $295.00. Payable prior to course commencement for ineligible students.

UNITS OF COMPETENCY

On successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment for the following units will be issued:

ACCREDITED UNITS

SHBBNLS001 Provide manicure and pedicare services

Units from SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services.
These accredited units are Nationally Recognised.

NON-ACCREDITED UNITS

110301D Shellac nails

CREDIT TRANSFER OR RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

If you believe you have already undertaken any of this training, or have the current skills, please talk to your Trainer or Training Coordinator prior to course commencement. Credit transfer can only be applied by sighting organismal transcript of studies.
