COURSE OVERVIEW

Participants will develop their foundation skills in a fun interactive environment specialising in the area of basic music production. Students will learn key skills within an operational sound recording studio.

Students will learn whilst engaging with others and technologies associated with music production whilst learning key foundation skills as a pathway into Certificate II Music Industry (CUA20615)

COURSE DELIVERY

This course is delivered over 10 sessions for 10 weeks. Mixed mode delivery which includes classroom and self-paced learning.

UNITS OF COMPETENCY

On completion of this short course, a Statement of Attainment for the following units will be issued:

ACCREDITED UNITS

  • FSKDIG02 – Use digital technology for simple workplace tasks
  • FSKOCM03 – Participate in simple spoken interactions at work
  • FSKWTG06 – Write simple workplace information

Units from FSK10213 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways
These accredited units are Nationally Recognised.

NON-ACCREDITED UNITS

  • Assist with sound recordings
  • Play or sing musical pieces

On completion of this short course, you may be able to undertake:

  • FSK20119 – Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways
  • CUA20615 – Certificate II in Music Industry
