Office Manager

Riverina Community College is a leading Registered Training Organisation based in Wagga Wagga.

We are looking for a proactive and service focused Office Manager to join our enthusiastic team. Our college is known for its high level of education, and we are now seeking further industry professionals to support our progressive education team.

Duties:

• Provide general HR advice to staff
• On board new staff and contractors
• Process staff payroll
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Administer contracts, tenders and grants
• Manage grant reporting and acquittals
• Supervise a small team of administration and customer service professionals

To be considered for this position you must have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in payroll/HR, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate team members
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
• Self-starter with the drive and ability to work independently
• Passion for customer service and a willingness to go above and beyond for people
• High level of written and oral communication skills across a range of stakeholders
• Ability to problem solve to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Knowledge of Xero and experience in working within a not for profit environment would be an advantage.

Trainers and Assessors

Riverina Community College is a leading RTO based in Wagga Wagga delivering accredited courses.

Due to an expansion, we are looking for passionate and dedicated casual trainers across the Riverina with flexibility to join our enthusiastic team. Our college is known for its high level of education, modern facilities and small class sizes, and we are now seeking industry professionals to join our progressive education team.

Trainers and Assessors are required for the following:

  • Foundation Skills
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)
  • Certificate III in Hospitality
  • Certificate III in Business or Business Administration
  • Certificate III in Beauty Services
  • Certificate III in Hairdressing

Duties:

  • Prepare and deliver training and assess students
  • Monitor student attendance and progress
  • Conduct peer observations, to establish a sense of others teaching styles
  • Maintain student assessment files
  • Mark theoretical assessments
  • Assess students practically

To apply for this position you must have:

  • A relevant degree, diploma or other vocational qualification.The qualification must be at least the level of competency being delivered
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent)
  • A current Working with Children Check (or prepared to obtain)
  • A minimum of 3 years' work experience in the relevant industry
  • Demonstrated experience with adult learners
  • Demonstrated understanding of the AQF and Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015
  • A high level of written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to liaise effectively in educational settings as well as industry and community settings
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a highly professional and flexible approach to learning
  • Strong interpersonal skills, show social and cultural sensitivity, and flexibility to accommodate the needs of our client base
