CVS Program Manager – PPT 30 hours per week

Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is a program that recruits volunteers to provide friendship and companionship through one-on-one visits with older people in residential aged care or those in receipt of a Home Care package who are socially isolated.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated CVS Program Manager to be based in Wagga Wagga to drive our strategic plans and lead our enthusiastic team.

Duties:
• Lead a team of 3 dedicated volunteer coordinators
• Implement and manage strategic plan
• Implement and manage budget
• Review and create policies and procedures as required
• Lead team to achieve Program goals
• Promote awareness of the program to the broader Riverina Community
• Ensure compliance within program guidelines
• Report program outcomes in a timely manner

• National Police Check
• Working with Children’s Check
• Strong background in community services, preferably with the elderly
• Experience managing strategic plans and budgets
• Experience reporting to government funding bodies
• Experience working with volunteers

• Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong customer service focus

Fulltime Trainee – Customer Service/Administration Assistant

Riverina Community College Ltd is currently seeking a motivated customer focussed administration trainee to join our team to complete a 12-month fulltime traineeship (38 hours per week).

The right person will:
• Have a desire to learn the skills required to contribute to a busy customer focussed workplace

• Have a desire to be a valuable support person for our busy professionals
• Have a keen eye for detail in tasks such as data entry, banking, preparation of student resources

Riverina Community College is a leading RTO based in Wagga Wagga, delivering accredited courses to the Broader Riverina region.

Due to an expansion, we are looking for passionate and dedicated casual trainers across the Riverina with flexibility to join our enthusiastic team. Our college is known for its high level of education, modern facilities and small class sizes, and we are now seeking industry professionals to join our progressive education team.

Trainers and Assessors are required for the following:

• Foundation Skills
• Certificate II Salon Assistant
• Certificate III in Hairdressing

Duties:
• Prepare, deliver training and assessment
• Monitor student attendance and progress
• Maintain student assessment files
• Mark theoretical assessments
• Carry out practical assessment
• Availability on weekends & After-hours work

To apply for this position, you must have:
• A relevant degree, diploma or other vocational qualification. The qualification must be at least the level of competency being delivered
• A minimum of 3 years' work experience in the relevant industry
• TAESS00011 Assessor Skills Set
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent)
• Current police check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current working with children’s check (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated experience with adult learners
• Demonstrated understanding of the AQF and Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015
• A high level of written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to liaise effectively in educational settings as well as industry and community settings
• Exceptional organisational skills with a highly professional and flexible approach to learning
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to show social and cultural sensitivity, and flexibility to accommodate the needs of our client base

A current driver’s licence will be necessary as you may be required to travel to remote areas within the Riverina as predetermined.
