Foundation Skills Trainer

At Riverina Community College we are not just interested in people who tick boxes or just meet needs. What fuels our growth and the success of our students, clients and ultimately our business is people who have a passion and are determined to have a positive impact. Does this sound like you?

We require engaging, energetic and patient trainers & assessors to deliver training on a casual/contract basis. Your knowledge and understanding of the recognition process will allow you to systematically evaluate a student’s skills and knowledge and you will be confident in designing a learning program that is flexible to each student’s needs. You must be professional, articulate and capable of engaging students by explaining concepts simply and rationally. A sound understanding and appreciation of working with people from diverse backgrounds is essential and your passion for nurturing and guiding students to achieve positive outcomes will be the key to your success.

Work within a flexible, friendly environment to engage, inspire, encourage, support and train in foundation skills, working largely with ‘second chance’ learners who are keen to learn but who may not have had a good experience in traditional schooling.
