CHC33021 - Certificate III Individual Support (Disability)

COURSE OVERVIEW

The CHC33021 Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) is targeted to individuals wanting to provide support work to people living with a disability in group homes and in their own homes. This can be either existing workers without current qualifications or people new
to the industry wanting to become involved in this type of role.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY NETWORKING

Mandatory work placement of 120 hours must be completed with an aged care residential facility or community disability organisation employer.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You must be 16 years of age or above. Students are required to undertake a language, literacy and numeracy assessment and face to face interview prior to enrolment. A current Police Check and Working with Children Check is required prior to commencement.

This course is subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible students

  • Student contributions are applicable and range from $1,450 to $1,750
  • Concession contribution to eligible students $240
  • Exemptions apply

Full course cost: $6,700
