- COURSE OVERVIEW
This skill set reflects the role of individuals wanting employment as make-up artists to design and apply make-up for a range of purposes and occasions across, fashion, media, and entertainment industries.
These individuals possess a range of well-developed technical and consultation skills where discretion and judgement are required and are responsible for their own outputs.
This includes working cooperatively with a range of individuals including photographers, fashion stylists and media production staff. Work is typically conducted as part of a team or on a freelance basis in settings such as make-up studios, fashion and media sets and photography studio.
- DURATION
This course is held every Wednesday for 10 weeks.
Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm
- ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All students undertake a Language Literacy and Numeracy evaluation prior to enrolling with our LLN Robot assessment tool.

Concessions & eligibility criteria apply. This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. Limited places are available.
- UNITS OF COMPETENCY
On successful completion of this course, a statement of attainment for the following units will be issued:
- ACCREDITED UNITS
SHBBMUP009 Design and apply make-up
SHBBMUP010 Design and apply make-up for photography
- CREDIT TRANSFER OR RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
If you believe you have already undertaken any of this training, or have the current skills, please talk to your Trainer or Training Coordinator prior to course commencement. Credit transfer can only be applied by sighting organismal transcript of studies.
