Fully-subsidised training options at Riverina Community College



In partnership with the NSW and Australian Governments, Riverina Community College is proud to be a provider of Smart and Skilled funded training in the Riverina region.

Under this “fee-free Initiative”,more than $164million has been invested to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET) in a range of areas that have been identified as priority qualifications.

Riverina Community College is able to provide fully-subsidised training in the following qualifications for local businesses:



  • Certificate III Hospitality

  • Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing)

  • Certificate III Individual Support (Disability)

  • Certificate IV Ageing Support

  • Certificate III Business

  • Certificate IV Leadership and Management

  • Diploma of Leadership and Management.


To be eligible for this subsidised training, you must be:


  • 15 years old or over

  • No longer at school

  • Living or working in NSW

  • An Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.

Traineeship and apprenticeship options are also available, with some lucrative incentives for employers looking to employ new entrants into their workplace available.
