COURSE OVERVIEW

This course will give participants the skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices to prevent food borne illnesses within a hospitality work environment.

This unit is needed to work in an organisation with permanent or temporary kitchen premises or in food preparation areas.

To successfully gain a Statement of Attainment for SITXFSA005 Use hygenic practices for food safety, students MUST attend all sessions.

COURSE DELIVERY

This course consists of:

A self-directed online theory assessment
1 x practical assessment held from 9am to 3:30pm

On successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment for the following units will be issued:
