Upskilling or reskilling? Riverina Community College has the answers
The Riverina Community College (RCC) is offering short courses to locals wanting to upskill or reskill and find new work opportunities in a COVID-19 world.
The RCC is a not-for-profit, Wagga-based organisation specialising in providing quality education, training and community programs in the Riverina region.
RCC has recently become part of the VERTO group, and their CEO, Ron Maxwell, said the past two years have left many people considering their career options.
“What we're seeing is that since COVID-19 came into our lives, the demand for quality short courses has been high, as people look for trusted and impactful ways to improve their skills, protect their jobs and progress their careers,” he said.
"This is something Riverina Community College can certainly help you with, and a range of funding is available for eligible students.
"We have something for everyone, from basic computer courses to cake decorating. Our First Aid courses are always popular, as are our RSA and RCG certificates.
"If you’re thinking about doing some extra training, or a refresher course, please get in touch with the team on 1800 000 212 or visit our website www.riverinacc.edu.au," Mr Maxwell said.
